Off-Shore

The growing gap between human demands and economical rules makes it difficult for us to localize ourselves. Off-Shore tries to create an environment that combines two important issues of our time. The standardized units allow a cost efficient production and a short building process. Nevertheless the building structure is able to be used in a flexible way and will appear like it. In spite of its standardization the building offers its users a flexible and multi- layered individual experience. The combination of standardization and individual preferences may offer a solution for the growing gap between human needs and ecological demands. Creating an individual building experience by activating personal associations is an important part of this project.
